"You Can't Start a Fire without a Spark"

The classroom is empty and I just finished grading the first round of blog posts. It's great to see all the people who really want to use their blogs for rambling, so here is some to get the rumblings started:

Voice-

We recently talked about voice from Boyne's novel, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and everyone had some really great input about his own voice. 

My voice, is strange. It's loud, naturally. It uses big words that have been picked up from years of writing and reading brilliant Harry Potter fanfiction all throughout my high school years. My diction is accessible and my sentences are sometimes too long. 

I love using words that are dark and lolling that flop off tongues like liquid lugnuts. Malevolent. Say it 5 times and you might know what I mean.
